Costwold Walking

Byways House B&B is ideal for walkers as we are just 'walking distance' from the 'Cotswold Way' and the new 'Winchcombe Way'. These both pass through Winchcombe, one of the most walker friendly towns and scenic areas along the Cotswold Way - and one of the major walking trails in the UK.

We can provide ‘pickups and dropoffs’ to the centre of Winchcombe if needed, as this is where a lot of guided tours start.

If you wish, the short 1 mile journey from Winchcombe to Byways B&B has some wonderful views and passes the historic GWR Steam Railway station – a wonderful place to visit and to feel like you are back in 1950’s England. The Harvest Home Pub is just opposite the station for a well earned drink or bite to eat!

For the confident walker, just turn left or right out of Byways House B&B and the Cotswolds are yours to explore!

We can provide packed lunches and drinks when needed – just let us know your preferenece

Stretching over 100 miles from Chipping Campden to Bath, the Cotswold Way covers some of the most scenic and beautiful english countryside and villages – including Winchcombe, less than 1 mile from our front door
